When I was a kid, my mom a single parent working three jobs used to flood our Christmas tree with gifts.

We’d open one on Christmas Eve… then two… then all of them. By morning, we had nothing left and somehow, she’d replenish it.

Back then, I didn’t understand why gifts meant so much to her.
Now I know that was her way of showing love when time wasn’t something she could give.

This story is a reminder: love doesn’t always look the way you expect it to.
Sometimes, it hides behind exhaustion, sacrifice, and quiet effort.
